ABOUT US

The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals or iaedp™ Foundation | Rhode Island Chapter is part of a global network of professionals dedicated to advancing excellence in eating disorder care. iaedp™ Foundation supports the field through education, professional certification, and the promotion of ethical treatment standards.

Locally, the Rhode Island Chapter brings together clinicians and professionals across Rhode Island and the surrounding New England region who share a commitment to improving the prevention, awareness, and treatment of eating disorders. Through educational programming, networking events, and collaborative initiatives, the chapter fosters connection among professionals working across the continuum of care.

Our Community

Our chapter brings together a diverse network of professionals involved in eating disorder care, including:

  • Therapists and psychologists

  • Registered dietitians

  • Physicians and psychiatrists

  • Nurses and allied health professionals

  • Students and emerging professionals

We welcome professionals from Rhode Island as well as neighboring communities in Southeastern Massachusetts and nearby Connecticut.
